Workstation Deployment & Refresh
We stage, image, and deploy workstations at floor scale — trading desks, branch offices, and full HQ buildouts. Cutovers run after hours on a live bridge with your system administrators, so users arrive to a working desk. Decommissioned hardware is inventoried, wiped, and palletised for secure disposal or RMA return.

Scope
What this looks like at your size
A hardware refresh is easy to buy and hard to land. The machines arrive, and then somebody has to image several hundred of them, get each user's data across, rebuild every desk to match what was there, and do it without taking the floor down during business hours. Done badly it is three weeks of half-working desks; done well nobody notices it happened, which is the only outcome worth paying for.
- 01
Up to fifty seats
A department or a small office, usually staged over a few nights so nobody loses a working day.
- 02
Fifty to three hundred seats
A floor at a time, imaged before the floor date in a staging room on site, then cut over in phases across a weekend. At this size we bring in additional technicians and lead them.
- 03
A building or a fleet
Rolling waves against a schedule, with a per-seat audit and validation so the last wave is as clean as the first.
How it runs
In the order the work happens
The sequence matters more than the list. Most of what goes wrong on these jobs traces back to a step skipped early rather than to the work itself.
- 01
Stage and image before the floor date
Machines built, imaged, joined and updated before the floor date — usually in a staging room on your site, since that is where the network and the domain already are. Imaging a hundred laptops at the desk is how a refresh eats a week it did not have.
- 02
Audit what each seat actually is
Monitor count, arm type, dock model, peripherals, anything non-standard. A refresh that returns a two-monitor user to one monitor is a refresh that generated a ticket.
- 03
Cut over after hours on a live bridge
With your administrators on the call, so anything needing a domain or an account decision is resolved as it comes up rather than parked until morning.
- 04
Validate, then decommission
Each seat logged into and checked before it is signed off. Old hardware is inventoried, wiped and packed for disposal or RMA with a chain-of-custody record.
What you get
What is actually delivered
- Bench staging and imaging before the floor date
- After-hours cutover on a live support bridge
- Dual and quad monitor arm assembly and alignment
- Asset tagging with a reconciled inventory sheet
- Legacy hardware wipe, packing, and disposal chain
Not this
What we do not do here
Stating this is what makes the rest of the page worth believing, and it saves you a call that was never going to end in work.
- Procuring the hardware itself, unless you ask us to — that is asset procurement and it is quoted separately.
- Building the golden image and its application set, which is your platform team's decision. We will deploy it and tell you what breaks.
- Licence entitlement and subscription reconciliation.
Questions
Before you call
- Can you do this without taking the floor down?
- Yes, and that is the normal arrangement. Staging happens beforehand, the cut happens after hours in phases, and users arrive to a desk that works. Nobody sits without a machine during their working day.
- What happens to the machines coming out?
- Inventoried, wiped to a documented standard, and packed for certified disposal or RMA return with a chain-of-custody record. It is part of the job rather than something you are left holding.
- Do you handle the data on each machine?
- Yes — profiles, mail, mapped drives and licences, verified against the original before anything is wiped. That is data migration, and on a refresh it runs alongside rather than after.
