Office Moves & Floor Migrations
End-to-end technology relocation. We inventory the origin floor, break down and transport equipment, rebuild every seat at the destination, and validate each workstation before sign-off. Surplus assets are routed to storage with a tracked manifest.

Scope
What this looks like at your size
An office move is not a moving job with some computers in it. The desks arrive fine; what breaks is everything that was plugged into them — the seat that had three monitors and now has two, the phone that came up on the wrong extension, the printer nobody mapped, the one director whose dock was different. Those are found on Monday morning by the people least able to fix them, which is why a move that went well on Saturday can still read as a disaster at 9am.
- 01
Up to fifty seats
One weekend. Audit Friday, move Saturday, validate Sunday, open Monday.
- 02
Fifty to two hundred seats
Phased by department or zone so the whole floor is never down at once, with a nightly cut and a morning validation pass on what moved. Additional technicians are brought in and led by us.
- 03
A multi-floor or multi-building restack
Run in waves over several weekends against a sequence plan. This is where the audit stops being paperwork and starts being the thing that makes it possible.
How it runs
In the order the work happens
The sequence matters more than the list. Most of what goes wrong on these jobs traces back to a step skipped early rather than to the work itself.
- 01
Audit the origin floor before anything is touched
Every seat photographed and recorded as it actually is, not as the floor plan says: monitor count and arms, dock model, peripherals, phone extension, anything personal or non-standard. This is the document that settles Monday's arguments, and it is the step most moves skip.
- 02
Label to the destination, not the origin
Everything leaves the desk tagged with where it is going — floor, zone, seat. A box labelled with where it came from is a box somebody has to open to find out where it belongs.
- 03
Break down, move, rebuild
Seats are struck in the agreed order, moved, and rebuilt to match the audit — same monitor count, same arm height, same dock. Cable management is done on the rebuild rather than promised for later, because later does not come.
- 04
Validate before anyone arrives
Every rebuilt seat is powered, logged into, and checked: displays detected at the right resolution, network up, phone on the right extension, printers mapped. Anything unresolved goes on a punch list you get before Monday, not a call you make on it.

Not this
What we do not do here
Stating this is what makes the rest of the page worth believing, and it saves you a call that was never going to end in work.
- Furniture. We move what plugs in; the desks and chairs are a mover's job and they are better at it.
- Camera systems on the new floor. We do that, but it wants surveying and planning ahead of the move rather than being fitted around it.
- Dock bookings and building permits are yours to arrange. The certificate of insurance the building will want for the freight elevator is ours — send us the requirements and we will confirm what we can meet before you commit to a date.
Questions
Before you call
- How far ahead should we book?
- Two to three weeks for a floor, longer if the building has a single freight elevator or a strict dock window. The audit needs to happen while the origin floor is still in use, which is the part that sets the timeline.
- Do you work weekends and nights?
- That is when this work happens. A move during business hours costs more in lost work than it saves in labour, so the default is a Friday-night start and a Sunday validation pass.
- What happens to the old equipment?
- It leaves with us. A floor full of abandoned hardware is how a clean move ends badly, so decommissioning is scoped into the move rather than left behind it — the detail of how that is handled is on the workstation deployment page.
