Scope

From one position to a whole estate

A meeting room is judged in its first thirty seconds. If the screen is too high, if the cable reaches the wrong side of the table, if the room needs a specific adapter nobody has — the room has failed, regardless of what was spent on it. Most of that is decided by mounting height and cable path, which are cheap to get right during installation and expensive to change afterwards.

How it runs

In the order the work happens

The sequence matters more than the list. Most of what goes wrong on these jobs traces back to a step skipped early rather than to the work itself.

  1. 01

    Find the structure before choosing the position

    What the wall actually is — stud, masonry, glass partition, or a wall that will not carry the load — decides the mount and sometimes the position. This is established before anything is drilled.

  2. 02

    Set the height from the seated sight line

    Screens are hung for the people sitting at the table rather than for the person holding the bracket. Too high is the single most common installed fault and it cannot be fixed later without patching the wall.

  3. 03

    Run the cable where it will not be seen

    In-wall where the construction allows and code permits, in trunking where it does not. A screen with a cable hanging from it looks temporary regardless of what it cost.

  4. 04

    Test the way a visitor will use it

    Every input, the camera and microphone in a real call, and whatever adapters the room needs left in the room. The test is whether somebody who has never been in there can start a meeting alone.

Questions

Before you call

Can you mount on glass or a partition wall?
Sometimes, with the right hardware and a load calculation. Often the honest answer is that the wall will not take it and a floor stand or a different position is the right call — we would rather say that before drilling than after.
Will the cabling be visible?
Not if the construction allows otherwise. Where in-wall is not possible we use trunking matched to the wall, and we will show you what it will look like before committing.
