What this looks like at your scale
Your infrastructure is in a facility you cannot reach quickly, and something needs a pair of hands in front of it. The work itself is rarely difficult; what matters is that it is done exactly as directed, in the right cage, on the right unit, with the change window respected and the person on the bridge told what is actually being seen rather than what was expected.

A reboot, a media swap, a cable trace, a console session. Scheduled or same-day where the day still has hours in it.

Rack and stack, power and network cabling, labelling, and photographs of the finished elevation.

How it runs
In the order the work happens
The sequence matters more than the list. Most of what goes wrong on these jobs traces back to a step skipped early rather than to the work itself.

Confirm access and protocol before travelling
Facility access list, escort requirement, cage and rack identifiers, and the change reference. Arriving without one of those is a wasted trip somebody pays for.

Work on the bridge, describing what is there
The value of remote hands is accurate eyes. What the indicator actually shows, what the label actually says, what is actually cabled where — rather than confirmation of what the person on the call expects.

Photograph before and after
Every change recorded visually, so the state before is available if a rollback is called for and the state after is not something anybody has to take on trust.

What we do not do here

- Operating system and application administration. We are hands in the facility rather than a systems administration contract.
- Facility-side power, cooling and cross-connect provisioning, which belong to the colocation provider.
- Anything outside the change window and the written instruction — we will raise it on the bridge rather than improvise.

Before you call
- Can you work under our change control?
- Yes, and we expect to. Escorted access, a live bridge, a stated window and a written instruction is the normal shape of this work, and we document what was touched.
- Which facilities do you cover?
- The New York metro as standard. Anything beyond that radius is quoted case by case, and we will be straightforward about whether the travel makes sense.
