Design, installation, and remediation of network and telecom infrastructure. We configure routers and switches, cross-connect 66 blocks and patch panels, and rebuild closets with labelled, colour-coded, service-loop cable management. Every run is tested before we call it done, and certified to a printed report where the handover calls for it.

Scope
What this looks like at your scale
Most business networks were not designed; they accumulated. A switch was added when ports ran out, a VLAN was created for one project, an uplink was moved during an outage and never moved back. It works, in the sense that traffic passes — and then it becomes impossible to change safely, because nobody can say what any given port does. A rollout is the opportunity to leave something legible behind.

One switch stack, a patch field, and a documented port map. Often a day, and often the highest-value thing a small office can buy.

A floor or a building
Multiple closets, an inter-closet backbone, VLAN and addressing plan, wireless placed against a channel plan rather than guessed.

The same build repeated across locations to one specification, so the fifth site's closet looks like the first and any technician can work in either.
How it runs
In the order the work happens
The sequence matters more than the list. Most of what goes wrong on these jobs traces back to a step skipped early rather than to the work itself.

Design the addressing and the segments first
VLANs, subnets, and what talks to what, agreed before hardware is racked. Data, voice, cameras and guest separated deliberately rather than because a default put them there.

Rack, cable, and configure to a written standard
Switch configuration from a template rather than by hand per device: management off VLAN 1, a parked native VLAN on trunks, port security and BPDU guard on access ports, and discovery left on where the phones need it.

Cut over in a window, with a way back
Configuration staged and reviewed before the window, with the previous state captured so a rollback is a decision rather than an improvisation.

Document what you now own
Port map, VLAN table, addressing plan, and a labelled patch field. The handover test is whether someone who has never seen the closet can find a port from a desk number.

- Firewall policy and perimeter security design, which is a security engagement rather than a rollout.
- Carrier circuit ordering and provisioning — we will coordinate with your provider and terminate the handoff, but the contract is yours.
- Ongoing network monitoring and managed alerting.
Questions
Before you call
- Can you work with our existing switches?
- Usually. We will tell you which are worth keeping, which are out of support, and which are quietly the reason something is slow. Replacing everything is rarely the cheapest correct answer.
- Do you configure wireless as well?
- Yes, and placed against an actual channel plan — more access points at lower power rather than fewer at maximum, which is the mistake that makes a dense floor worse the more hardware you add to it.
- What do we get at handover?
- The running configuration, a port map that matches the labels, the VLAN and addressing plan, and photographs of the finished closets. If you later hand that to somebody else, they can work from it.
